Restriction is the first piece in the Again, Again, Again collection. Inspired by the traditional Irish dance soft shoe and the pressure to achieve the “perfect” pointed foot, the piece explores restriction, repetition and the physical demands of dance.Wet-formed leather pushes through the hand-sawn silver structure, like skin against the confines of the shoe, while etched text reflects the steps repeated throughout training.
Custom made to fit · To ensure a perfect fit, the middle three fingers of the chosen hand must be sized before the piece is made.
