One of a kind · Sterling silver & laser-etched leather
Tradition in Transition explores the evolution of Irish dance from traditional practice to contemporary performance. Seven concentric silver forms represent the seven traditional step dances learned in training, surrounding wet-formed leather etched with the words of a modern reel.
Modelled in Rhino, 3D printed, cast in silver and finished by hand in Kildare. The leather is secured within the silver structure with a hand-soldered brooch fitting.
